The Trivium Prep PSO encourages all parents and guardians to participate and volunteer their time to support our academy. We invite you to explore the various ways to stay involved.

HOW DO I BECOME A TRIVIUM VOLUNTEER?

All employees of charter schools and school volunteers who are on-campus or off-campus during school hours such as field trips and working with students shall be fingerprinted and have a criminal background check conducted by the Arizona Department of Safety and the FBI.

Fingerprint clearances must be renewed once they have expired. Expiration dates are listed on current volunteer badges.  If you are unsure of your volunteer status, please contact Jodi Pfunder at jpfunder@triviumprep.org.

On-campus fingerprinting events are typically scheduled twice a year.

Our Fall 2019 Volunteer Fingerprinting Event was August 23, 2019 from 8:00-10:00 AM at the Archway Trivium West/Trivium Prep Campus (2001 N. Bullard Ave, Goodyear, 85395).

Look for information on our Spring Volunteer Fingerprinting Event coming soon!

Fingerprints are submitted to Arizona Department of Public Safety for a search of Arizona and FBI criminal history records. You may donate $20 to cover this cost for the school at triviumprep.configio.com or on the day of fingerprinting by check made payable to the school.

The entire process usually takes 4-6 weeks from the time of fingerprinting.  You will not be able to volunteer your services on campus without fingerprint clearance. Once you are cleared for volunteering, we will create a volunteer badge for you which will be stored in the front office. Questions about the process or your volunteer status can be directed to our assistant office manager Jodi Pfunder at jpfunder@triviumprep.org.

You may also apply for a fingerprint clearance card directly through DPS at https://www.azdps.gov/services/public/fingerprint. If you have a current fingerprint clearance card, you may bring your card in to the school as proof of clearance for volunteering.

Volunteers often inadvertently have access to sensitive information or observe situations of a sensitive nature. Any information about students, grades, faculty, etc. is to remain confidential. If a volunteer has a concern involving something that is witnessed, observed, or overheard, please discuss this with the Headmaster. If a volunteer disregards this policy, the privilege of volunteering may be revoked.

ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST READ & AGREE TO TRIVIUM’S VOLUNTEER POLICY PRIOR TO VOLUNTEERING YOUR SERVICES.

Please review and sign the Volunteer Agreement and return to the front office.

If you have any questions on how to get involved as a volunteer at Trivium Prep, please contact our PSO President at TriviumPrepPSO@gmail.com.
